Books

Siamo tutti sensitivi (“We are all mediums”) (Siad, 1980, new edition Armenia 2006)
This book is based on the assumption that, despite using less than 10 percent of cerebral potential, through certain specific techniques we can all develop psychic powers, such as telepathy, clairvoyance and precognition. But the path towards reawakening these gifts is a long one and involves searching inside yourself and most importantly, approaching it in stages. To this end, each chapter presents techniques for the achievement of psycho-physical balance and the development of psychic potential. The first point is relaxation (Autogenous Training), which is necessary to enter the Alpha state: relaxation allows us to not only to relieve stress and produce endorphins, but also to enter in contact with the right side of the brain and therefore with our intuitive intelligence. Following this there are visualisation techniques, through mental dynamics, self-healing, meditation and the development of clairvoyance. A good text to support beginning a path towards consciousness of your own inner world.

La notte del destino – (“The night of destiny”) (romanzo Oscar, 93, out of print).
Esoteric novel: the heroine embarks on a journey of pleasure across Turkey.. There, by rediscovering her past, she resolves her sentimental problems and finds the man she loved in a past life. All of this happens as she looks for the mysterious book of the mystic Rumi, the Mevlana. Also looking for the book is a rich merchant, in whom she recognises the evil individual who, finding himself unable to possess her in her past life, killed her.

Diventare sensitivi (“Becoming mediums”) (Sonzogno '94, co-author Carlo Biagi).
An extremely thorough book on the potential of the brain: a manual that teaches techniques for visualisation, relaxation, meditation, energetic reawakening of the chakras, psychic powers (telepathy and clairvoyance), self-healing and out of body experiences. It contains an interesting chapter on the altered states of consciousness necessary for having borderland experiences.

La terapia R, guarire con la reincarnazione (“R therapy, healing with reincarnation”) (Mondadori, 95 and Oscar, out of print).
In this fascinating book, together with her own personal story, the author tells the stories of the most symbolic and meaningful cases that she has come into contact with during twenty years of past-life therapy. Through accounts of therapeutic sessions, often recorded word for word, the reader achieves an understanding of the laws of cause and effect that regulate reincarnation and more importantly, the meaning of existence, which always has an evolutionary purpose: one life after another, frees us from the bonds of ignorance to finally enter into contact with our own spiritual side, until paying all our existential debts and being freed from the chain of existences.

I poteri dello spirito: la chiaroveggenza (“The powers of the spirit: clairvoyance”) (Oscar, 1998, out of print)
According to the author, anyone can develop psychic perception by developing a high level of interior attention and a willingness to accept messages from the mind. After having learned to enter the Alpha state, altering our level of consciousness with relaxation and visualisation techniques, we reach a higher state, which allows us to develop second sight in order to enter the world of the invisible, beyond ordinary coordinates. The book provides several exercises to activate the extrasensory perception: telepathy, clairvoyance, psychometry and precognition.

"L'aldilà esiste?” inchiesta sulla vita dopo la vita (“Does the afterlife exist? An investigation into life after life”) (Sperling & Kupfer, 1999).
One of the most difficult issues to face is death, which constitutes a great taboo for people from the West. The author tackles this subject using her usual easy and engaging style.. Taking as a basis her own personal experiences of psychic perception and more importantly, her experience as a therapist, she provides accounts of how during past-life therapy sessions her patients had relived not just their past lives, but also moments of transition and beyond, life after life, discovering that the memory of death is never traumatic. Furthermore, she reports evidence from those who have visited the afterlife alive, such as those who have learned to leave their bodies consciously or those who have had dramatic near-death experiences, during which they remained conscious. Paradoxically, those who undergo such experiences lose the fear of death, take on a great serenity and face life with a greater sense of responsibility.

I sogni dell'anima (“The dreams of the soul”) (Sperling & Kupfer, 2001, co-author Biagi, out of print)
In the mysterious universe of dreams, populated by imaginary creatures, everything comes to life, endowed with power and meaning. During the hours of sleep, we experience extraordinary, at times even tough adventures, we meet legendary characters, or characters who we have never met, which perhaps even take on animal features. We become a little like Alice when, after having dropped off to sleep, she begins a fantastic adventure in Wonderland, which starts when she enters her unconscious, taking her to the bottom of a hollow tree trunk. But how can we understand the messages that reach us from the oneiric world? This manual, drawing on the indications of Carl G. Jung, explains the method for interpreting dreams and also provides an easy-to-use annotated guide to the symbols that appear most frequently.

Medianità, una strada verso il futuro (“Mediumism, a path towards the future”) (Sperling & Kupfer, 2002).
At times we approach the mysterious due to a profound need for consciousness and interior evolution. More often, it happens when we suffer unexpected grief for which we hope to find a meaning. However, there are also those who wish to develop these gifts in order to broaden their own horizons. And then there are those who try to communicate with the spirit world spirit world using a Ouija board, or automatic writing, referring to a medium, or trying to record the voices of the spirit world. It is certainly a fascinating world, not without its dangers, where it is difficult to get one’s bearings. Having collected a great deal of “eye-witness” statements, the author decided to draw a map of this mysterious universe. Passionate, well-documented and provided with the necessary critical sense to avoid being blinded by the most exciting phenomena, she has composed an exhaustive text on communication with the spirit world, allowing us to understand the purposes, dangers and most suitable techniques for each of us.

Reincarnazione, una vita, un destino (“Reincarnation, one life, one destiny”) (Sperling & Kupfer, 2004).
Over 30 percent of Christians around the world, both in America and Europe, accept the idea of reincarnation. Reincarnation is a part of oriental religions, but it is also part of the great monotheistic religions. There are allusions to the possibility of being reborn in both the Old and New Testaments, particularly in the apocryphal gospels, and in the Koran. Today, in the United States, it is not only a subject of research for psychiatrists and psychologists, but it is also used in therapy within transpersonal psychology. Pompas, a pioneer in the field in Italy, gives accounts of her most interesting experiences, both in order to increase large-scale awareness of a study hypothesis that could help us understand and resolve many traumas and problems issuing from the past, and to offer doctors and psychologists a new therapeutic tool.

Stress, malattia dell’anima (“Stress, sickness of the soul”) (Tecniche nuove ed.)
These days we know all about stress, the positive and negative sides, the physiological changes and how to combat it. Yet we all live badly, always in a rush, tired and dissatisfied. Some sink into depression, a close relative of stress, which apart from being caused by a lack of chemical substances, mineral neurotransmitters, in energetic terms it is what the shamans call loss of the soul.
After a summary of the scientific studies on this very common disturbance, the author presents some key points for changing negative habits.. She also provides some relaxation techniques, such as Autogenous Training, supported by visualisation exercises for daily use in order to release tension, worries and negative emotion and regain energy. But that’s not all. Stress builds up when individuals are not in touch with themselves, they do not have good plans and purpose in life. It is not effort that makes us ill, it is the lack of a goal, whatever that goal may be. One piece of evidence to this effect is that there are people who are more immune to stress and illness and these people create: people like artists and scientists that work day and night to achieve their goals.
Courses and work-shops
Manuela Pompas has been running workshops since 1978, first in relaxation, mental dynamics and mediation and then in the development of psychic potential to activate the intuitive faculties. The cornerstone of her research for the last thirty years has been reincarnation; to find the origin of problems and traumas in the past and more importantly, to respond to existential problems and reawaken consciousness.

Guided meditation course
Meditation is an extraordinary technique, which first of all allows us to relax, listen to and learn from our bodies, to regularise our breathing and dominate the mind. The first goal is to concentrate thought without wasting energy and using both hemispheres of the brain, both the logical and the intuitive sides. However, for those who are constant and manage to work at meditation regularly, it becomes a path towards consciousness, which allows us to get in touch with the Superior Consciousness. During the course, we work with relaxation exercises and tension, negative emotion and thought “cleaning” exercises, thus meditating on a selected theme each time and on a page of spiritual teachings.

Reincarnation course
Beyond the stories we hear, at times fascinating, at times dramatic or banal, above all reincarnation becomes an opportunity to resolve our problems and understand where our lives are going.. Even though we make the distant past resurface, with past-life therapy, we end up working on the “here and now”, in order to correct and improve the present: we need the past to allow us to understand, but then it must be abandoned, it no longer belongs to us.
The first course is mainly an introduction. In other words, the purpose of the course is to put the person in direct contact with their own memories, beyond theories, to enter the philosophy of rebirth with his or her own experience. After a brief theoretical introduction, we move onto the practice, with techniques for visualisation and regression to past lives. Later on, it is possible to go into greater depth with further seminars, in order to allow other past lives to resurface, find the cause of our feelings of distress and also of the links people we love or who have hurt us.

Psychic perception development course (Level one and advanced)
Although we are although potential mediums, first of all, in order to activate this faculty, we need to clear the conscious mind and make our intuition work for us, moving from dominance of the left side of the brain to the right side of the brain, using altered states of consciousness. The course employs meditation and visualisation exercises to learn to communicate at a distance, see the past and the future with inner sight and read auras. In the advanced level course of the development of mediumism, we learn to see past lives in auras and communicate with our guides.

PMT (Pyramidal Memories Transmutation)
Having followed a training course held by Frenchman, Joël Ducatillon, the father of PMT and diamond water, we can now offer this technique of aura past life memory cleaning by means of decoders at the Karma Institute Association.

Radio and television
Since the 1980s, Manuela Pompas has edited several radio transmissions, such as “Dimensione donna” for Radio Italia, and television programmes, such as “L’uomo e il mistero” for Canale 5, then two editions of “Al di là del confine” and “Il Melograno” for Antenna 3. Furthermore, she is often invited as a special guest on private TV channels, to programmes on RAI (Domenica in, I Pirenei, Format, Harem, Cominciamo bene estate), Mediaset (Forum, Verissimo), Telemontecarlo (Il sogno dell’angelo), and Stream (Casa Laurito), to present her books or as an expert in parapsychology and particularly in reincarnation.

Conferences and congresses
Since 1980, Manuela Pompas has been a speaker at cultural centres and conferences linked to psychic and spiritual research.
She has also organised several conferences herself:
1992 and 1993 "Le nuove vie dello spirito" (“The new ways of the spirit”) Abano Terme (PD) - Italy.
1995 "Angeli custodi del mondo" (“Guardian angels of the world”) for the local authority of Cantù – Italy.
1998- 1999 "New Age: Misteri tra cielo e terra " (“New Age: Mysteries between Heaven and Earth”) Montecatini – Italy.
1999: "Il nuovo millennio tra scienza e fede" (“The new millennium between science and faith”) Milan - Italy.

A goal
In October 2002, a course was held on regressive hypnosis in Rome, organised by the Earth organisation for doctors and psychotherapists. This pilot project will be followed up with a training school for doctors and therapists, in order to tackle all the borderland experiences that make up transpersonal psychology.
